The people we are up against draw inspiration from violent movements. That is why they resort to violence at every opportunity. As #PeoplePower, we draw inspiration and counsel from non-violent movements. That is why we despise and shun violence even when provoked.

We are going to continue getting together with other young leaders across Africa for the liberation of not only Uganda but Africa as a whole.

Statement on the unexplained kidnaps, torture and murder of several #PeoplePower supporters & other political activists. The intention of the perpetrators must be to break our spirits, but we shall never, ever give up the struggle for a better country.

According to sources within their ranks, the panicky regime plans to stage-manage arrests of some 'operatives' putting on red berets in crime so they declare #PeoplePower a terrorist organisation and ban it! Explains such headlines. We are a non-violent movement! We are watching

It's exactly one year after Arua. That day, many of us nearly lost lives. My driver, Yasin Kawuma was shot dead. Grateful to the world for standing with us! As we remember that day, may we all recommit ourselves to the struggle for human rights, justice & freedom. #PeoplePower

Yesterday, met 5 comrades who were arrested on 10th Dec, 2020 in Arua Park for putting on the #PeoplePower berets. They were tortured and held at Mbuya barracks for weeks. They were charged before the military court and have been at Kitalya for close to two years without trial.

If our own MPs, elected by us, cannot listen to us on anything, including redeeming us from exploitative taxes, then we must realise that WE ARE ON OUR OWN and work each day to liberate ourselves. No one else will do. Teli kuzikiza.

I have learnt that a group of people gathered outside CBS radio station earlier today, and heckled Dr. Kizza Besigye as he left the studio. Apparently, most of these people are said to have been chanting the #PeoplePower slogan. This is regrettable.

Amidst increasing repression, over 50 #PeoplePower supporters & an independent journalist are spending nights in different prisons across the country. Nine were arrested for working with me on a music project! The heightened repression only increases our resolve to soldier on.

Instead of sharing with them economic empowerment strategies, Mr Museveni’s Minister tells people not to associate with @People_Power_Ug. There's only one reason as to why; As #PeoplePower, we spread the truth the NRM has for long tried to hide from Ugandans. We shall not stop! twitter.com/ntvuganda/stat…

Thank you Jinja for the love.
This morning I was hosted at NBS Fm Jinja during Endabirwamu program where we held an interesting talk show. To our amazement, this massive crowd built up outside the radio during the show, cleaned our car & later escorted us to Iganga

Ugandans would be more grateful if their hard earned money was invested in helping such vulnerable Ugandans than having billions thrown around trying to stop #PeoplePower. We should step back and reflect on how to value the life of every citizen.

Massive procession in Bugiri to and from the Nomination of our comrade in struggle Asuman Baaalirwa. Now headed to Hindocha Primary school grounds for our first rally. Nothing can stop the power of the people from deciding how they should be led.

Recently security minister Elly Tumwine on @nbstv linked #PeoplePower to some Red Movement which he said is a terrorist group. Usual script! They plan to plant weapons on our supporters, arrest & charge them with treason & terrorism. NOTHING CAN STOP AN IDEA WHOSE TIME HAS COME
