The Chairperson, Uganda Human Rights Commission now says she fears to convene meetings of the Commission because her juniors attend them with guns! Perhaps this explains the ridiculous statements she has been making of recent about victims of human rights violations. Perhaps it… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…

We strongly condemn the unjustified violence and indignity that Uganda's security agencies have meted out on Women Members of Parliament today morning as they peacefully protested against being harassed by police and the military when doing their work. It is this brutality that… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…

We appreciate the development aid rendered to Uganda, but reiterate our call upon the international community to make the observance of human rights and democracy a pre-condition for the same. #WeAreRemovingaDictator #Labisa #FreeAllPoliticalPrisoners

Later on, I interacted with officials in Washington D.C. and emphasized to them the need to hold Mr. Museveni’s regime accountable for its political and economic crimes against the citizens of Uganda.

I thanked them for supporting our endeavours, and encouraged them to maintain the international spotlight on the extra judicial killings, detention without trial, torture and other human rights violations in Uganda and everywhere else in Africa where they occur.

Next time you find no drugs at Mulago National Referral Hospital, please know that someone profits from that scarcity. This private pharmacy - owners 'unknown' - is located at Mulago's entrance. The land it occupies was previously the hospital's. #UgandaHealthExhibition #Labisa

So, who killed Afande Kaweesi and what happened to the eye witnesses of his assassination that were ostensibly given police 'protection' at the time? Who killed Afande Kirumira? Who killed the Muslim clerics? Who kills our people? What happens to the innocent suspects tortured?

Despite saving many lives in the process, it is disturbing that the regime saw no better way to treat the prospective medical interns' request for deployment than this indignity. We have a country to save, my friends! #Labisa #UgandaHealthExhibition #WeAreRemovingaDictator

This is how the regime today responded to a peaceful match by pre-medical interns requesting to be deployed for internship. Mind you, it's interns like this lot who stand in for their senior colleagues in Gov't hospitals when they lay down tools in protest of bad conditions.

I also thanked our outgoing leaders for the great work done over the years, and tasked the new leadership team to work even harder in pursuit of the struggle for a better country. #WeAreRemovingaDictator

This is how Hon. Susan Mugabi and the District Speaker of Buvuma were treated by the police and military yesterday. Journalists were detained and forced to delete footage to hide these criminal actions. In a sane government, these security men would now be behind bars!
