Earlier today, we commissioned the National Unity Platform / #PeoplePower Kunga Mobilisation Committees at our new Headquarters at Kavule. I charged the comrades to go back to their respective districts and mobilise our people for the revolution against the military regime.

This afternoon, we met with fifty comrades who were recently released from Kitalya by the military court in Makindye. Most of them have been in prison for periods between 1 year and 2 years. Most of them were charged with being in possession of the #PeoplePower berets!

On 18 Nov. 2020, Baker Kato was driving a taxi full of passengers when members of dictator M7's SFC guard waved him to stop. Upon seeing him putting on a #PeoplePower red beret, they shot him in the head. He died 2 days later. #M7Nov2020MassacreUg #BringBackOurPeople

In Aug. 2020, photos of retired UPDF officer Pte. Justus Turyatunga donning a #PeoplePower beret and mask circulated online. He was arrested; tortured, Court-Martialled and sentenced him to 3 years in prison.

WHERE IS HE? Nalumonso Vincent was a mechanic, picked up on 1st Dec. 2020 behind Bugolobi market. He was 27 at the time. Initially, they said he was 'arrested' for putting on a #PeoplePower beret & pinning my campaign posters. His whereabouts still unknown! #BringBackOurPeople

WHERE IS HE? On 3rd June, 2019, Johnbosco Kibalama who was 39 years of age was waylaid and snatched off the streets by gun-wielding men, along Gayaza Road. To date, no one knows where he is! He was a #PeoplePower activist, who was preparing to run for office. #BringBackOurPeople

Happy to speak on phone with my brother, comrade Bukenya Moses aka Wiser who was released by the military court yesterday, after spending 1 year and 4 months under detention for putting on a #PeoplePower beret. There shall and must be justice for these crimes against humanity.

Yesterday, met 5 comrades who were arrested on 10th Dec, 2020 in Arua Park for putting on the #PeoplePower berets. They were tortured and held at Mbuya barracks for weeks. They were charged before the military court and have been at Kitalya for close to two years without trial.

Very delighted today to address and officially close the two-day retreat of the @NUP_Ug Institutions Wing. The retreat was intended to orient and train the students' leaders who have won in different universities under the #PeoplePower/ NUP ticket.

A great delight spending the day with these great men and women who we love to call foot-soldiers! These are mostly young men and women who do not hold any formal position, but they are #PeoplePower leaders in their respective areas of influence. Leaders without titles!

For supporting #PeoplePower and @NUP_Ug, this young woman Alexandreos Marinos was recently abducted, severely tortured and sexually assaulted by security operatives at the CMI facility in Mbuya. Her ordeal is very difficult to listen to!

After yesterday's raid on our offices, the military & police spent today dismantling all banners & billboards bearing my image from towns. Anyone found selling #PeoplePower merchandise is arrested. The dictator is in total panic. This only increases our resolve to resist!

Amidst increasing repression, over 50 #PeoplePower supporters & an independent journalist are spending nights in different prisons across the country. Nine were arrested for working with me on a music project! The heightened repression only increases our resolve to soldier on.
