Arrested at July 1 protest, this 23yo first motorcyclist/ first-aider with a #LiberateHongKong flag became the first person in #Hongkong charged for “inciting sedition and terrorism” under #nationalsecuritylaw. He will appear in West Kowloon Court today.

When stickers citing Bibles were accused of breaching #NationalSecurityLaw, Deputy director of #China's office on #Hongkong HKMAO just said the new law is not one-off. #Beijing will introduce more China's laws to #HK in the future.

5. DNA samples are used for tracking ethnic minorities and dissidents and also added to its sophisticated facial recognition systems, as per reports. As China is paving ways to extend its surveillance systems to #Hongkong, it is worrying that HK might soon become Xinjiang.
