Joshua was further arrested under NSL today. WITHOUT legal representative this morning, he was taken to Laichikok Reception center to take statement. It is not known yet when and where this investigation will lead him to. Joshua has now returned to ShekPik Prison. (Apple Daily)
#BREAKING Police also raided Joshua’s home for allegedly violating the national security law this morning as he took part in the primary election last year. 50+ democratic activists were arrested.
#JoshuaWong wrote before moving to maximum security facility, 'how happy the letters written by fellow HongKongers made me. Every night, the letters spare me from loneliness, affirming my faith in activism.' Check out what he reads lately 👉 bit.ly/jxmas-welt
After removing legislators and imprisoning protestors, Beijing will then turn to education. The struggle outside prison is equally challenging. People have to prepare for a greater cost merely for speaking up or refusing to conform to authority. Read more bit.ly/2JNHThn
[#JoshuaWong Letter before sentencing] I said ‘it’s tougher for you to be out there’. By this I mean not only the emotional burden of having friends incarcerated but the sweeping control on many aspects in HK’s society (Credit: AFP)
From admin: Happy 24th birthday to @chowtingagnes. Keep her in your thoughts.

#JoshuaWong 13.5m in jail - via lawyers, “it’s not the end of the fight. Ahead of us is another challenging battleground. We’re now joining the battle in prison along with many brave protestors, less visible yet essential in the fight for democracy and freedom for HK.

#JoshuaWong’s first letter from prison 1. Though I've been in prison three times, solitary confinement is far beyond my expectation. It's indeed hard to endure, but as many #hkprotesters face lawsuits/imprisonment like me, I hope you continue letting them know they are not alone

Today #Thaiprotesters rallied to demand the king to give up control of the royal future. Ridiculously #thaigov just built a “Bangkok Wall” with containers to block ralliers. But the will of the people cannot be blocked. #MilkTeaAlliance #25พฤศจิกาไปSCB #WhatsHappeningInThailand

[First day of #JoshuaWong’s remand] 1. Joshua is now separately remanded in a single cell, being barred from leaving the cell nor meeting other inmates. As the cell light is left on 24 hours, he is struggling to fall asleep.
23
2. But what concerns him most is the situation of other #HKprotestors, from the recent arrest of #GrandmaWong to the 30yo protestor, who was charged for violating #nationalsecuritylaw after singing protest song #GloryToHongKong. Joshua also calls for attention to #save12hkyouths.

4. What we are doing now is to explain the value of freedom to the world, through our compassion to whom we love, so much that we are willing to sacrifice the freedom of our own. I'm still learning to conquer the fear and I believe you are with me along this journey.

3. I wish to pay tributes to our fellow activists who are about to face trials and prison, or to whom in distress for not being able to return home: We're not fearless, but you are the braver ones.
