Gen. Museveni and his pathetic hypocrisy. In every town, our people are brutalised, teargassed and arrested for gathering to wave at us. On the other hand, Museveni hires people, dresses them in t-shirts and parades them on streets under police protection #WeAreRemovingADictator

Moments after a teargas canister was thrown directly into my car, in Mbale. The crime of the people was waving at me, and marching with me peacefully towards our designated venue. #WeAreRemovingADictator

As Gen. Museveni continues his campaigns & NRM continues to hold processions, Bobi Wine is still held illegally at Nalufenya! If Museveni wants to be a sole candidate, he must state so. Otherwise, we must have a level playing field for all candidates. #WeAreRemovingADictator

Bobi Wine is still in jail. The regime accuses him of holding big meetings & processions. On the other hand, Gen. Museveni continues to hire crowds to hold processions and rallies everywhere! The regime is in so much panic. COVID is an excuse. #WeAreRemovingADictator twitter.com/DailyMonitor/s…

Scenes like this are very difficult to watch! The dictatorship is in panic. We cannot have men in plain clothes shooting people in broad daylight! #WeAreRemovingADictator

This morning we're scheduled to be in Kyegegwa district. The police arrested many of our team members throughout the night. This morning, they have cancelled the venue which we booked to address our people from & are asking us to look for another venue! #WeAreRemovingADictator

In Kyenjojo, blocked from accessing town. Taken to a place deep in the village. We're followed everywhere by teargas trucks, police pick-ups with soldiers, mini-buses which effect arrests etc. All meant to scare people, but PEOPLE are refusing to submit! #WeAreRemovingADictator

In Fort Portal, it was a hailstorm of bullets and teargas as police & the military tried to prevent people from coming out to listen to our message! Despite all this, many people weathered the storm and turned up! Thank you. Uganda is ready for change! #WeAreRemovingADictator
13
The military & police have blocked us from addressing the people of Kibaale district as scheduled! They are now blocking us from proceeding to Hoima district! It's hard to believe that a regime, one time so glorious, is now this scared of the people.SHAME #WeAreRemovingADictator

The regime continues to ignore these voices of peaceful citizens demanding for their rights and freedoms. The citizens are not giving up; they are speaking louder. #WeAreRemovingADictator twitter.com/DailyMonitor/s…
15
Often times on this campaign trail, the police and military block us from using main roads, so as to limit the number of people we can access. Too bad for them, it often backfires: the people in the villages too are very thirsty for change! #WeAreRemovingADictator twitter.com/DailyMonitor/s…
16
Thank you Kagadi for the massive welcome even amidst intimidation and violence by the military and the police! We are strengthened by your courage in the face of great adversity! #WeAreRemovingADictator

Blocked from the main roads; blocked from reaching the towns; people are constantly harassed, beaten and prevented from coming to our campaigns by the military, but the people of Buliisa made a statement today. #WeAreRemovingADictator #14thJan2021

Despite the hurdles last night, we started the day in high spirits; not allowing these trials and tribulations to break our resolve. Kyankwanzi has been great. The yearning for change is all over the nation. #WeAreRemovingADictator

The overwhelming love we received from the people of Kiboga is testament that our long time message of hope and freedom has reached the countryside. Uganda is ready for change. #WeAreRemovingADictator #14thjan2021

We are passing through tough and uncertain times. Who knows what tomorrow might bring? Even then, we hope! This hope keeps up moving. This hope keeps us energised. Yes, this hope keeps us focused on the prize. That prize is a New Uganda! Thank you Kassanda #WeAreRemovingADictator

The people of Luwero have made it unequivocal that they have a duty to remove the dictator they helped create. For them, it has been a story of betray and shattered hope. They are taking the leading role in the struggle for freedom and democracy! #WeAreRemovingADictator

The future of Uganda is it's young people. They must be listened to & their outcries must be made priority. In the New Uganda, the youth will be priority for investment especially in education, health care and skills. Everyone must be involved & respected. #WeAreRemovingADictator
