Congratulations to you my dear wife @BarbieItungoK on your graduation with a Masters of Arts in Human Rights from the University of London. You're such an inspiration to this generation, especially the girl child. Oh how proud I am of you my love! #FreeAllPoliticalPrisonersUganda

Very delighted to appear on @ZainAsher's program on CNN where I continued to make an appeal to the US & other gov'ts of the world to stop sponsoring a regime that has distinguished itself in crude violation of rights. #StopSponsoringOurOppression #FreeAllPoliticalPrisonersUganda twitter.com/ZainAsher/stat…

These NUP women leaders gave us a lesson in courage. They took to the streets in a peaceful protest against the continued illegal detention of our people and the unmitigated abductions of citizens. #BringBackOurPeople #FreeAllPoliticalPrisonersUganda #WeAreRemovingADictator

On this heroes' day, we remember especially those who have had to pay the ultimate price in the struggle for freedom and democracy. It may take long, but eventually justice will be served to those who ended your lives prematurely. #FreeAllPoliticalPrisonersUganda

Comrade @MotivKasagga tells his story at CMI: "For the entire 72 hours I was held captive, they denied me food as another torture tool. I was only drinking toilet water, and their 30 whips for all the time I was held hostage." #BringBackOurPeople #FreeAllPoliticalPrisonersUganda

Olivia Lutaaya is 30. She is a young mother of two. She mobilised for @NUP_Ug during the 2021 election. For that, she was abducted, beaten up, held incommunicado for weeks, and then arraigned before the military court. She is still in jail! #FreeAllPoliticalPrisonersUganda

It was great catching up with brother Kakwenza Rukirabashaija over breakfast. His story is horrifying. We should all wish him a quick physical and psychological recovery. #WeAreRemovingADictator #FreeAllPoliticalPrisonersUganda #36yearsofoccupationuganda.

We visited comrade Sanya Muhdyn Kakooza at Luzira Prison where he was transferred to after being sentenced to 8 months in prison for contempt of the Military Court! His crime was protesting against torture and trumped up charges before Gen. Gutti! #FreeAllPoliticalPrisonersUganda

Kassim Migadde was picked up by a 'drone' on Dec 10th 2020. Gravely tortured and then charged before the military court with putting on a red beret. He has spent a full year and one month under illegal detention! Today, he was released on bail. #FreeAllPoliticalPrisonersUganda

He's been previously arrested and tortured. They continue to do such actions in order to silence opponents yet they're emboldening more people to stand against the repressive regime. #FreeKakwenza #FreeAllPoliticalPrisonersUganda #WeAreRemovingADictator

The regime is at it again, abducting people every day with no shame whatsoever. Like we always say, there can be no peace unless and until Gen. Museveni and his criminal regime are out. No one is safe under this environment. #StopAbductionsUganda #FreeAllPoliticalPrisonersUganda

My hope and prayer is that our leaders will look beyond the temporary comfort and work for a country where every citizen will have an opportunity to live in peace and with dignity. #FreeAllPoliticalPrisonersUganda #WeAreRemovingADictator

There must be accountability for these outrageous violations. #PeoplePowerOurPower #FreeAllPoliticalPrisonersUganda #WeAreRemovingADictator
