Thank you, @usmissiongeneva, for the recognition & advocating #Taiwan’s @WHO & #WHA participation. As a beacon of freedom, democracy & human rights, the country will continue combating #Coronavirus with like-minded partners & allies. Together, we can realize #HealthForAll. twitter.com/usmissiongenev…
Finally had the chance to meet #StVincentAndTheGrenadines Minister of Health Luke Browne, who so bravely spoke up for #Taiwan at this year’s #WHA. His words of support have stayed with me to this day, and strengthened the resolve of the Taiwanese people. #JFDS2019
I thank @MOHW_Taiwan Minister Chen & his delegation for their hard work in Geneva & fighting for #Taiwan’s participation in #WHA. They did so with a relentless optimism, & a belief that one day @WHO & the world will understand why #TaiwanCanHelp create a healthier future for all.
The inclusion of Taiwan in the #WHA is a #HumanRights issue. It’s not a bargaining chip that can be used by any country to pressure us to give up our sovereignty. The goal of #HealthForAll can only be achieved if #Taiwan is part of the @WHO. #TaiwanCanHelp.
Foreign missions in Taiwan work day in & day out to bring our countries closer together. With the #WHA approaching, I want to thank them for choosing to #SpeakUpForTaiwan’s right to health, and recognising the important contributions we can make to #globalhealthsecurity.
Thankfully, many countries understand that to achieve #HealthForAll, everyone has to be on board. So up until today, many like-minded countries including #Australia, #Canada, #France, #Germany, #Japan, the #US & #UK chose to #SpeakUpForTaiwan & help complete the #WHA story.
Global health is an important issue & what happens at #WHA is an important story. However, for the past few years, that story has been incomplete because one chapter has been missing: The chapter on #Taiwan.
A big thank you to #Tuvalu Prime Minister Enele Sopoaga for your enduring support of #Taiwan’s participation in #WHA. #HealthForAll means no one, including the 23.5M ppl of Taiwan, is excluded by @WHO
A heartfelt thank you to @eu_eeas & AIT for openly supporting #Taiwan’s participation in #WHA & @WHO. Even though we are excluded from this year’s WHA, Taiwan will never stop contributing to #globalhealth facebook.com/AIT.Social.Med…
To achieve #globalhealth, every life counts. The people of #Taiwan should be entitled to enjoy equal participation in all @WHO events. We thank like-minded countries & int’l friends who support our #WHA participation! #TaiwanCanHelp #HealthForAll twitter.com/mofa_taiwan/st…
