1. According to @StandNewsHK, two #Chinese scholars (at least of them is #CCP member) are nominated as the vice presidents of #HKU, months after the university sacked the co-founder of #UmbrellaMovement #BennyTai.

3. Just months after the firing of #UmbrellaMovement co-founder #BennyTai, the new appointment casts huge doubt on our academic freedoms, esp whether critical studies will be censured or liberal staff will be sacked. Once precedent is set, it's forseeable more uni will follow.

2. Throughout my six years in college since the #UmbrellaMovement in 2014, I have been suspended from my studies because I was sentenced to imprisonment. I have also tried taking examinations in prison. Now that I have finally graduated, my wish has been fulfilled.
