Today I welcomed Xiao Qing-yang 蕭青陽 & Hsiao Chun-tien 蕭君恬 to the Presidential Office to congratulate them on their #Grammy win. This is the second year in a row that #Taiwanese artists have won for album design & we could not be more proud of their achievements.

A joy to meet our overseas #Taiwanese community & #WestCoast friends to share our achievements as we wrap up this visit. By making this trip, we say to the world that we will withstand challenges & that when we say the words “I am Taiwanese,” we speak with respect & pride.

I'm immensely proud of how the #Taiwanese people have supported #Ukraine, having so far donated over NT$600 million along with many critical supplies. We #StandWithUkraine in solidarity as its people fight to protect their freedom & way of life.

Today, NT$100 million donated by the #Taiwanese people was transferred to #Poland to provide humanitarian aid to #Ukrainian refugees there. I want to thank everyone who contributed to this joint effort to help displaced Ukrainians.
