The #Taiwan Swinging Skirts @LPGA is set to tee off this week, & some of the world’s top golfers will be vying for the title. It was wonderful to meet so many of these outstanding women tonight. I look forward to seeing everyone at the top of their game!

Today I met with @Europarl_EN Taiwan Friendship Group Chair Michael Gahler, who played an instrumental role in establishing the Formosa Club with #Taiwan Parliamentary Friendship Groups from the #UK, #France, & #Germany this month. I thank him for his unwavering support.

#Taiwan’s military reserve forces are a model of selfless service, and a vital link between the military & the public. I was honoured to present senior reservists with award plaques today for their contributions to national defense, and disaster prevention & relief efforts.
