Next stop: Pinney’s Beach on #Nevis Island. The boat ride offered spectacular views of this up-and-coming tourist haven’s white sand beaches and aquamarine waters, and I’m honoured to be the first president of #Taiwan to visit this island. #JFDS2019

Many people would be surprised to learn that #US Founding Father Alexander Hamilton was born right here on #Nevis Island. Our tour of the island today brought us to his birthplace, where we learned how his #Caribbean upbringing led him to become a vanguard of democracy. #JFDS2019

It’s a unique opportunity to visit Brimstone Hill Fortress National Park, a #UNESCO World Heritage Site. This time, I invited Taiwanese tourism firms to come see #StKitts & #Nevis for themselves & introduce the beautiful scenery & culture of the Caribbean to #Taiwan.
