I know there are several versions of fan translations for this part, with the official using the word “bolster” for “補完する”, but the definition of this word in Japanese is “to fill in an incomplete part, and make it complete.”

Once again English is not my native language, so when I read “bolster” the first thing that came to my mind was this round thing we hug when we sleep (I think it’s a Southeast asian things) and I was like YEAH, kacchan is Deku’s bolster 😭✊
