Deku’s response to Hawks talking was not his usual polite はい? (Yes?) but he said ん? (hm?) instead, as seen in panel below, which is very casual. I think he got really comfortable with Hawks.

Instead of the more proper

She speaks like Bakugo minus the swearing.
