台湾に近い与那国島に米軍と自衛隊の共同調整所を設置し、共同作戦の指揮・統制を演練。陸上自衛隊は台湾有事に介入する米海兵隊のEABO(遠征前進基地作戦)に組み込まれ、事実上米軍の指揮下に入って活動することになるだろう。
