Einig und entschlossen setzen wir mit dem 6. EU-Sanktionspaket Russland weiter unter Druck. Das Öl-Embargo umfasst 90 % der Importe aus 🇷🇺. Außerdem hat 🇩🇪 einen Ringtausch mit 🇬🇷 vereinbart. So können Panzer sowjetischer Produktion schnell in die Ukraine geliefert werden. #EUCO

Das waren intensive 24 Stunden #EUCO. Wir sind 27 Länder, wir haben 27 ganz unterschiedliche Historien und in Einzelfragen auch manchmal unterschiedliche Interessen, aber wir stehen zusammen. Das ist das Signal dieses Gipfels: Europa ist in der Krise handlungsfähig.

Agreed to work on measures to contain energy prices for households and businesses.

During #EUCO I urged other leaders to impose new energy security measures, i.a. maximum price for gas, to strengthen EU resilience & protect economy. I strongly endorse today's declaration of @antoniocostapm @sanchezcastejon @kmitsotakis & #MarioDraghi. It's the right way for EU.
