This is a 25-year-old #CrimeaTatar Leniie Umerova. She was detained by 🇷🇺 in December while trying to visit her ill father in #Crimea. The only Leniie's “crime” was refusing to be issued a 🇷🇺 passport.
We call on #CrimeaPlatform partners to demand the immediate release of Leniie.

Grateful to UN member states who supported yesterday the 7th #UNGA resolution on human rights in #Crimea. This year, its scope is extended to all temporarily occupied territories. Among other things, the document demands #russia stop forcible transfers of #Ukrainian children 1/2

Appeasement of 🇷🇺 following it’s brutal occupation of #Crimea back in 2014 led to #russia’s full scale invasion against #Ukraine in 2022.
Crimea lesson is very clear: it is dangerous to dance tango with the aggressor.

9 years ago 🇷🇺 illegally annexed #Crimea & undermined rule-based international border. Back then world did not punish 🇷🇺 for its cynical crime,so evil became bigger. Since then occupiers turned once prosperous Crimea into big jail. Our duty is to bring freedom back to peninsula.
