Up, up, and away! Taitung’s International Balloon Festival is one of Eastern Taiwan’s biggest summer attractions, & this year I had the opportunity to see the spectacle for myself. Exciting events like this are just one of the many reasons #Taiwan tourism continues to flourish.

Three years of economic reforms helped #Taiwan’s GDP grow by over 2.4% in 2019 Q2, highest among the 4 Asian Tigers. Economic restructuring, industrial innovation, & investments by returning local firms have given Taiwan a leg up in the regional economic race.
