On #PartitionHorrorsRemembranceDay I pay homage to millions of Hindus for whom The independence came as horror as they were brutally massacred at the hands of Jihadis on the announcement of partition. Lakhs of Hindu women were raped after being forced to leave behind everything.

Today, on #PartitionHorrorsRemembranceDay, I pay homage to all those who lost their lives during Partition , and applaud the resilience as well as grit of all those who suffered during that tragic period of our history.
