Donors worldwide are joining efforts to raise funds for generators to power🇺🇦hospitals!
In support of the #LightUpUkraine initiative, the President of the European Commission, @vonderleyen, announced that the EU will send 900 generators and a 1,000,000 energy-saving💡to Ukraine.

When hospitals are forced to operate without electricity, the consequences can be dire. From being in the dark during complex heart surgeries, to being left without hemodialysis or oxygen.

This week, a 240kW generator was delivered to Sumy Clinical Hospital #5, which can support the entire hospital during power outages. #united24 ambassador, @LievSchreiber, together with the @BluCheckUkraine, raised funds for it via U24, as part of the #LightUpUkraine campaign.
