In 1937 Ambassador Tadeusz Romer became the first Ambassador of 🇵🇱Poland to 🇯🇵Japan. He would later be known for his assistance during WW2 to Jewish refugees arriving to Japan, often on transit visas issued by Japanese consul Chiune Sugihara. #ForeignServiceWeek
