Disk Brakes Engaged!
Yesterday one of our #F35 performed the Worlds first Shipborne Rolling Vertical Landing.
With this capability @thef35 can land with increased fuel and munitions load resulting in less wastage.

In a Sea State 6 with winds gusting to 50 knots we continue to develop @thef35 to life at Sea.
Our Rotary Wing are also showing their metal on Search & Rescue duties. With a pitching, rolling deck; they certainly are earning their flying pay today!

This weekend brings the last opportunity for most of our Ships Coy to see their loved ones before we deploy. It’s a heart wrenching moment to say goodbye however making them, and 🇬🇧 proud is what we must do. Keep the home fires burning 🔥#Westlant18 #F35ondeck
