In 1989, a series of officially licensed sticker cards was released in the US, each containing a "Top Secret Tip" on the back. While the tips were in fact about hidden content for most games featured, the "tips" for Super Mario Bros. 2 were paraphrased excerpts from the manual.

In Super Mario 64, the collision detection of the lava inside the volcano in Lethal Lava Land is not aligned properly with its visual position, being slightly below it. This allows Mario to stand, crawl, and even fall asleep in lava at the edges of some platforms.

In Paper Mario: TTYD, entering a building and then clipping back out lets Mario walk around the area with most graphics unloaded, but the collision still present. Talking to NPCs will make the tail of the speech bubble point at Mario, making it appear as though he was speaking.

Ever since Waluigi's first appearance up to the present day, he has been extremely consistently depicted with exactly 12 teeth in all official artwork and all in-game models except one. Waluigi's Mario Kart DS model (bottom right) depicts him with 16 teeth instead.
