In Super Mario Party, a Boo in the Ghostly Hollow portion of Challenge Road will ask whether the player wants to take a break. For almost all characters, the interaction looks like the top image. However, if playing as Boo, the other Boo will note how proud he is of the player.

In Super Mario Odyssey, breaking a crate next to the big bridge in the Cap Kingdom releases 16 birds with top hats. If Snapshot Mode is activated immediately after breaking the crate, we can see that the birds are briefly neatly arranged in 8 stacks of 2 birds before scattering.

In Super Mario Galaxy, regular, non-playable Luigi's shirt has a collar covering the bottom part of his neck (left). However, on playable Luigi's model (right), the collar is peeled back, revealing the previously unseen portion of his neck.

Super Princess Peach contains an item called "Tough Coffee", which increases Peach's life meter when bought. In-game, it is depicted as a mug decorated with a picture of an arm (left). However, in the game's data, an alternate unused version of Tough Coffee is found (right).

While Mario's nose is always modeled as part of his face, Wario is often modeled with his nose as a separate mesh. What this means is that his face is first fully modeled with skin covering the nose area as shown here before the nose is superimposed onto his face.

In the Bonus Mode of Mario Party 5, Boo is playable in the Ice Hockey minigame. All characters playable in that minigame wear ice skates; however, due to Boo having no shoes to attach the skates to, they are just two blades floating under him.
