Even though Yoshi's Cookie for NES and Game Boy share many graphical assets, there is one major difference in the games' credits sequences. At the end of the credits in the Game Boy version, Mario and Yoshi wave with one hand, while in the NES version, they wave with both hands.

In Super Mario 64, spawning the 100 Coin Star by collecting the Red Coin shown in the top left in Dire, Dire Docks will cause it to spawn partially out of bounds (top right). The ceiling hitbox prevents Mario from touching the bottom of the Star, making it unobtainable.

After performing a capture in Super Mario Odyssey, Mario's original body dissolves into fragments. Normally, Snapshot Mode is disabled during this. However, capturing a manhole cover in New Donk City reenables it sooner, allowing us to view Mario's dissolving body up close.

The aim of the Roll Call minigame in Mario Party 2 is to count crowds of Toads, Bob-ombs or Boos that move around. In the game's data, a sprite of Bomberman can be found next to this minigame's graphics, suggesting that a crowd of Bombermen may have also been intended to appear.

In Donkey Kong 64, there are books on the shelves in the log cabins in Crystal Caves. The covers of all these books read "Monkey Book of Science, by M. Nuts". Due to the very dim lighting in the cabins, these are hard to see; I have increased the contrast in the image.

Unlike all previous Mario platformers, Super Mario Odyssey was rated E10+ instead of E by the ESRB. The official write-up mentions the Cookatiel boss battle, during which the boss spits out pink soup (top right); meaning this may have contributed to the higher rating.
