In Luigi's Mansion 3, there is a potted plant on a carpet on Floor 8 of the hotel. The plant is programmed to always return to its initial position, resulting in it performing various erratic motions if the carpet is moved underneath it, including flinging Luigi across the room.

@Luminousplay The color is based on the time between obtaining the egg and Yoshi hatching. It changes in the order shown below and after 20 minutes, the cycle resets to the beginning. As such, all that is needed to obtain the correct color is a timer! Thank you very much for your inquiry!

In Super Mario 64, if Mario falls from the top of Whomp's Fortress and touches the ramp just as he reaches zero health, he will be caught in an animation of repeatedly hitting his face against the ramp while slowly descending. After several minutes, Mario will finally die.
