The data for Pikmin on the GameCube includes an unused model of a Goomba head, called "kuribo.mod" (the Japanese name for "Goomba") internally. While the model appears normal from the front (left), turning it around reveals that it has a second face on its back (right).

When the Ultimate Unauthorized Nintendo Game Strategies book (left) was published in Mexico, the cover was redrawn to include Mario who, to avoid copyright issues, has a sheet over his face and the logo of publisher Ventura on his cap instead of his usual emblem (right).

Correction to the previous Tweet: I had mistakenly claimed it is Mario who is 3D in NSMBU and 2D in Super Mario Maker 2; it is in fact the goal pole itself that is 3D on the left and 2D on the right. I apologize for the error. Thank you to everyone who offered corrections.
