- The Conservative Party has always been obsessed with Europe
- This caused divides making the party hard to manage
- Back in 2015 then Prime Minister David Cameron had an idea

- He won the election
- The referendum was held; 52% of people voted to leave the EU
- David Cameron resigned

- It turned out that nobody actually knew what Brexit meant
- She called an election and lost the majority

- He called a general election and won a majority

And it would absolutely be stupid. Johnson’s been found out and is widely disliked. If the Conservatives tell the electorate that he’s the best they can offer then the electorate will undoubtedly remove them from office. But petrified, desperate people do stupid things.
