The elected representative for the people of Ipswich has some complaints for the leader of the Church of England. That would be Her Majesty The Queen. I’m sure she’ll value his wisdom as much as she respects Boris Johnson’s counsel.

Party’s over.

He is risen! (Jesus that is, Boris Johnson will be in bed until at least 11) #Easter

Just found Boris Johnson’s Easter egg stash; he only went and put them all in one basket…

On this Good Friday remember the most important of Jesus’ commandments: “Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself… unless they’re refugees, in which case export them pronto”

Which companies are being given the contracts to run this waste of money? Which friends of government ministers will now get rich with your money because of it?

In case you’re wondering, we’ve reached the “try to distract people by talking about asylum seekers” stage of a Johnson scandal. A couple of days ahead of schedule by my reckoning. Attacking the BBC usually comes next…

Conservative MPs still don’t grasp that they can’t simply declare that this is over. That’s ultimately up to the electorate, who don’t like being dictated too by their elected representatives. Backing Johnson will just further the damage and the repercussions. #partygate

Don’t worry @SamCoatesSky, the viewers love cats.

For what it’s worth I don’t expect Boris Johnson to resign. There’s nothing in his past that suggests he’s capable of a selfless act. Instead he’ll feel sorry for himself and do whatever he can to cling to power, adding further insult to injury he has already inflicted #Partygate

Tories are already trotting out the line that we can’t change Prime Minister because of the horrific events in Ukraine. They know that’s nonsense. Would they have cancelled a general election? This is a perfect example of why it’s damaging to keep him in place: #Partygate twitter.com/SamCoatesSky/s…

Boris Johnson’s time as Prime Minister is over, the only question is how long it takes for him or the Conservative Party to admit it. #Partygate twitter.com/YouGov/status/…

Angela Richardson, Guilford “It also seems as though there are further questions to which we do not yet have the answer, because of the Metropolitan Police investigation”.

Derek Thomas, St Ives “If the inquiry or the Metropolitan police find that the alleged activities were illegal and that the PM knew this, or was involved, then I think he should consider his position”
