Another Ugandan murdered by security forces. This unfortunate cycle will not end until we subdue the gun and make it fully subordinate to the people. This is what our struggle is about! twitter.com/DailyMonitor/s…

The repression continues everywhere as security forces intensify the crackdown on all pro-democracy actors. Dr. @kizzabesigye1 is still detained at Nagalama having been blocked from addressing the people in Bugiri. When injustice becomes law, resistance becomes a duty!

I am glad that Kakwenza has not allowed the intimidation. I am proud of your strength and resilience brother. Let's keep struggling. The struggle for freedom and democracy will end in victory.

He's been previously arrested and tortured. They continue to do such actions in order to silence opponents yet they're emboldening more people to stand against the repressive regime.

We hear that Pte. Turyatunga — who was in UPDF's 105th Battalion and served in Somalia under UGABAG [Battle Group] 31 — was subsequently stripped of his pension and other benefits following the conviction. The double standards!

This world would never be the same if you were not born, atleast not for me. The world will never know how much of an inspiration you are to me. You transformed me and gave me a new meaning of life. You have been the wind beneath my wings every time I fly.

Masereka's case is one of the many we've filed before courts and other institutions. But these institutions are so weak and intimidated. That's why we filed a complaint at the International Criminal Court. Victims need justice. We want accountability for crimes against humanity.

Matthew 10:28. "Do not be afraid of those who can kill the body but cannot kill the soul."
The tyrants of today [like those of then] may harm our bodies but never our souls. Therefore, let us all remain steadfast & be true to the legacy of Janaan Luwum.

Well, that is the price we'll keep paying until we put a stop to it. The oppression boda boda riders are facing will eventually be 'customised' to apply to other sectors of the economy. The sooner we we put an end to this, the better for all of us otherwise #FennaTujjakiwulira.

Spent the afternoon with the 'father of Constitutional law' in Ug; Hon Justice Prof. Dr. GW Kanyeihamba. Discussed pertinent issues as regards the state of our nation. I always look up to such outspoken & uncompromisable statesmen.
