The regime which uses money, violence, etc to destroy opponents, turns around to blackmail them! We must reject it with contempt. We may fight from different fronts, but as long as our objective is the same, an attack on one of us is an attack on that joint objective!

Congratulations @joshuacheptege1. Uganda is super proud of you. Keep winning. twitter.com/WorldAthletics…

We have just two hours to the concert. But in the meantime, let's first listen to Haj Koloboza. #FreedomShowToday #ChargeYourPhone #LoadYourData #4pm

Unfortunately, the criminal regime's Police force resorted to its usual tactics of oppression; it violently broke up the peaceful protest and arrested many of the ladies. Their relatives & friends remain blocked from accessing them in detention at Wandegeya Police Station.

Meanwhile as we still mourn our comrade #RitahNabukenya who was murdered by @PoliceUg, yesterday, 10 of our friends with whom we have been working on a music project where rounded up by police including the video directors and camera crew.

What I can say without contradiction, is that this new attempt will fail, like all those before. Our people just need to be vigilant and remain alert. #WeAreRemovingADictator

I thank all students of Kyambogo University who voted for the Guild President elect, Tunduru Jonathan (The Generational Activist) who ran as the @People_Power_Ug candidate.

When we can, we shall, but don't wait for us to tell you what to do. Think about what we can individually and collectively do to put an end to this madness. #WeAreRemovingADictator

Congs @eddykenzoficial, you continue to make us proud. Keep flying the Uganda Flag so high. #GhettoTalent

Many of my fellow leaders were put under house arrest for no offence whatsoever. Simply because the state suspected that they would want to go and receive me at the airport. This is gross abuse of authority.

Thank you very much Dr. @kizzabesigye1. As I said in my speech today, few people have inspired our nation to fight for democracy, peace, justice and human rights like you have. We look forward to building more synergies as we confront the common enemy together. Aluta continua! twitter.com/kizzabesigye1/…

We shall not repeat until our people are treated with dignity!

I thanked the parents (and in some cases grandparents) for the great work they have consistently done in taking care of these children amidst very difficult circumstances. I implored the children to go back to school and work very hard to see that they make their parents proud.

Eid-ul-Adha greetings to all who celebrate this day. We remember and are inspired by the sacrifices Prophet Ibrahim (Alayhi al-Salaam) made in obedience to the will of Allah (SWT). May we all renew our devotion and commitment to what is right and just. Eid Mubarak!

They would rather torture people, but do everything possible for the world not to know. Too late for them, the evidence of their crimes is available to the whole world.

Tel rings-Bobi, u have a new offence over Arua. Me-What offence sir? Annoying, Alarming & Ridiculing the person of President M7! Looks like it wasn't ridiculous enough to frame me with guns, lie tortured MP Zaake escaped from custody & claim 37 pple used a stone to smash his car!

I join the people of Uganda in celebrating the INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY. We ought to celebrate women not just on this day, but on all other days knowing that without them we would all be doomed!

Thanks Joel, for accepting this responsibility, which I know is a sacrifice. I encourage all Ugandans- young, old, men, women, educated and not educated- to take on the mantle & work for our nation's redemption. No one else will do it for us- it is us we have been waiting for!

As an Entertainer, I literally have to make people happy even when am at my saddest point and and as a Leader I have to lift people's spirits & hopes high even when am personally at my lowest point. Thank you #Masindi for the amazing love. #Situka

Of course the regime has been deliberately trying to keep our people in ignorance so that they can easily play on their minds with these kinds of things. Nothing will save the brutal regime from the inevitable. #WeAreRemovingADictator

Hopefully, Mr. Ham's claim was just a slip of the tongue — but that is also doubtful, since the official cost of Nakivubo's re-development is stated to be UGX 180 billion which is certainly nowhere near 737 trillion! Eh, mai lodi, I wanda 🙆🤦🏻‍♂️

We call for the immediate release of the protesting ladies, for they committed no crime whatsoever. Their constitutional right to dignity and peaceful protest must be respected. We reiterate our demand that all political prisoners be freed unconditionally. #BringBackOurPeople
