On our part, we condemned the rampant abductions and the trial of civilians in military courts. I charged our leaders, especially the religious and cultural leaders, as well as journalists to speak out against the terrible, horrific abductions of our people!

Yesterday, we were very delighted to receive 84 artists, entertainers and other media personalities into the National Unity Platform. There are few things that give me as much satisfaction as a leader as seeing artists get directly involved in the affairs of their country! #NUP

Amidst increasing repression, over 50 #PeoplePower supporters & an independent journalist are spending nights in different prisons across the country. Nine were arrested for working with me on a music project! The heightened repression only increases our resolve to soldier on.

Our people were very glad to receive this support, and this effort is continuing. Let's all do whatever we can to support our fellow citizens who are in dire need of help. Above all, let's do whatever we can, to redeem our country from these indignifying circumstances

My thoughts are with families of the 11 students who lost their lives in a fire at St. Bernard's Sec School in Rakai district on Sunday night. Very young people perishing senselessly! My prayers are with the other students who sustained severe burns & are in a critical condition

Big up, Most Honorable Prime Minister. Thanks for the great work of keeping Jamaica safe and alert; and for truly believing in the power of music to impact society as we all confront this global #COVID19 pandemic. There can be no sane discussion about anything else, when we don't even have a right to exist! It was very difficult seeing mothers and sisters of abducted comrades crying for help! The cries of our people will never be in vain!
