On our part, we condemned the rampant abductions and the trial of civilians in military courts. I charged our leaders, especially the religious and cultural leaders, as well as journalists to speak out against the terrible, horrific abductions of our people!

Yesterday, we were very delighted to receive 84 artists, entertainers and other media personalities into the National Unity Platform. There are few things that give me as much satisfaction as a leader as seeing artists get directly involved in the affairs of their country!

Amidst increasing repression, over 50 #PeoplePower supporters & an independent journalist are spending nights in different prisons across the country. Nine were arrested for working with me on a music project! The heightened repression only increases our resolve to soldier on.
