It's with grief that I learnt of the passing of Omulongo Jajja Babirye, a long time supporter and comrade in the struggle to free Uganda. Grateful that I was able to check on her recently and witness her unwavering faith that our country would see a new day soon.

...there's no amount of bullets, teargas or arrests that will stop us. Some of our colleagues have been beaten up and others arrested. They must be freed for they have nothing against the police but rather the terrible tax.

Den City is not the first person to come out of military detention and talk of being injected with substances by security operatives! I have personally experienced this. Some are injected & they black out only to wake up in unknown places. Tormented by those we pay to protect us!

A tweet from Uganda Human Rights Commission confirming signs of torture on Kawenza Rukirabashaija taken down. In 2018 when UHRC visited me at Makindye Military Prison and wrote a report confirming torture, they came under so much fire from the regime! I suspect, same thing here.
