Yesterday, met 5 comrades who were arrested on 10th Dec, 2020 in Arua Park for putting on the #PeoplePower berets. They were tortured and held at Mbuya barracks for weeks. They were charged before the military court and have been at Kitalya for close to two years without trial.

Very interesting to see that since 1991, this country has had five governments, each of them elected democratically on a peaceful basis. Great to see that the country which was almost entirely destroyed by war has since made great progress in terms of economic development.

Today over 100 teachers joined the National Unity Platform. We also received dozens of former NRM mobilisers who say they've been doing this for money. They returned home. In a very special way, we received over 100 professional boxers who are saying ENOUGH. This is a REVOLUTION

They warned her not to speak about this, before dumping her on a roadside. After speaking out to a few people, they attacked her again and tried to take her away 2 days ago. Neighbors gathered and the thugs fled. She went to police but they refused to take in her complaint!
