Now, this is the punishment they are receiving! Museveni being the poor student of history he forgets that the dictators who came before him did all this, but it never saved them! Hold fort comrades, #WeAreRemovingADictator

SHAME!! Like father like son! Having lost all legitimacy, they use our taxes to ferry people whom they have made poor, with promises of little money and t-shirts (because most can't afford clothes). After every event, those stranded are abandoned and have to walk back on foot!

Congratulations comrade Anyama Berliner Alfred on your victory as Guild President, Gulu University. I was regularly briefed about the several attempts to disqualify you and to stop the election like they did in Makerere, but I thank you for remaining strong till the end.

Over the weekend, I had a pleasant interaction with the Ugandan community in Boston, MA, USA. I appreciated them for the efforts they expend towards supporting the struggle. I encouraged them to remain united and avoid anybody who attempts to sow seeds of division amongst us.

Yesterday, I visited Kasaka Secondary School in Gomba District to commiserate with its students and staff on the tragic events of March 14, 2023 when a Sino Truck lost control and rammed into the school buildings leaving three students dead and nearly 20 others injured.

“I have seen people tortured from night to morning. .....Museveni has made past bad leaders look very good. So good that, if you ask me, ‘Would you rather live under Amin’s regime?’ — I would. My father survived it.”

Last night, we passed by the home of our deceased elder, Mzee Yona Kanyomozi to pay respects and console the family on such a big loss. In Mzee Kanyomozi, Uganda has lost a noble statesman and role model to so many leaders. May his soul rest in peace.

The citizens are asking- is there an outbreak of ebola in Uganda, or is it a stunt being used to siphon public funds and money from donors? If there is an outbreak, does it only operate in schools? Our country is ruled by criminals who are not even competent to run a sub-county.

A very happy birthday comrade brother MP @ZaakeFrancis. May your sacrifice never go in vain and may you live to see a free Uganda. #PeoplePowerOurPower

I was forced into a waiting police vehicle. I insisted that I did not want to get into an unknown car with complete strangers and that I had my own car waiting for me at the arrivals but my plea fell on deaf ears...

As we grow strong and stronger, Gen. Museveni's dictatorship exposes itself more for what it is! For three weeks now, they've been paying goons to attack our offices, forced landlords to revoke contracts, etc. Not a sign of strength. Panic! #WeAreRemovingADictator

The youth are demanding to be at the table while issues that affect them are being legislated. Youth represent majority of this Country and their voices matter. Help sign this petition to bring awareness about these unfair taxes to masses. change.org/p/stop-the-tax…

I join other patriotic Ugandans to celebrate 30 years of the @DailyMonitor. The journey has been a rough one, but you have stood your ground and continued to publish "truth everyday". Wishing you many more years of defending democracy and the freedom of expression.
