Cartoonists have thus far done a commendable job depicting the goings on in Uganda. Some two interesting pieces on the blockage of our concerts as well as the flooding of Kampala this rainy season.

Always inspired to see members of our various chapters in the diaspora meeting often to discuss strategies for strengthening the chapters and the struggle back home in Uganda. Grateful to these comrades in South Africa for the mobilisation, and particularly to comrade Hon.… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…

Archbishop Lwanga joins several other eminent outspoken religious leaders who have recently died under very unclear circumstances. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord.

Earlier today,a christmas show that had been cleared by police at Gaba beach was disrupted and blocked by soldiers and police when they learnt that I was going to perform. This happened despite parliamentary resolution last week declaring that blocking my shows is unconstitutional

Today, we address the international press via Zoom, about the Jan 14th #StolenElection, #EntebbeEnzibe and what the international community must do to isolate the illegitimate regime so that the people of Uganda can have their will and voice respected.

Statement on the unexplained kidnaps, torture and murder of several #PeoplePower supporters & other political activists. The intention of the perpetrators must be to break our spirits, but we shall never, ever give up the struggle for a better country. m.facebook.com/story.php?stor…

Like many women who end up in these detention facilities, she says she was raped by the beasts who abducted her! Most people always fear to speak about sexual assault because of the associated stigma. Marinos said she's speaking out to raise awareness and encourage others.

I've personally watched and followed the #EAGT show but in bits because of busy schedules and I must say I was impressed by Esther and Ezekiel. You out did yourself and the win was indeed well deserved. You made Uganda proud.

Deepest condolences to you Hon. @NandalaMafabi, Secretary General @FDCOfficial1 on the passing of your beloved mother, Joyce Nafuna. May her soul rest in peace, and may God strengthen you in this period of grief.

I used the occasion to highlight the greatness of this noble man, and the great wisdom he has taught me and other leaders. It is very painful that all his 90 years, he never witnessed a peaceful transfer of power in our country. May we never rest until we fully sort out the mess!

7. Jamil Mukulu at one point during a court appearance shouted that it was the regime financing them and was silenced. Can we dismiss these allegations without any evidence to the contrary, given the NRM record? Since then he has always been silenced whenever he tries to speak!

Standing with the sisters and brothers in Kasese and Bundibugyo as they deal with the catastrophic effects of the floods. Hoping you'll emerge stronger from this. We're sending some help to friends there and hope that more of us can come to their rescue.

Troubled by the news coming in from South Africa that our brother & fellow artiste Pallaso has been terribly attacked and hurt in what is said to be a xenophobic attack. I wish you the quickest recovery young King, and hope that the authorities will quickly investigate this.

I've seen gross pictures of a young man who was allegedly attacked by unknown people, hit on the head & had his hands nailed! According to a statement released by police, the 21 year old victim is called Kasumba Baker, resident of Kawempe.

Thank you Comrade @brucenahabwe1 for the wonderful gift. It'll be a constant reminder of the price many have had to pay to further the struggle for freedom. One important aspect about this drawing is that it's incomplete- a clear message the struggle is still on. Aluta continua!

Police & paramilitary outfit LDU seem to have found opportunity in #COVID19 to satisfy their appetite for violence. These women, plucked out of houses in Elegu were brutalised in the night. Forced to roll in mud, beaten & ordered to smear mud in private parts as officers laughed

“You get overwhelmed” Sankara said. “Some of those people they kidnap and torture would beg, ‘Please, please help me get some treatment. They would even refuse them treatment and in a day or two they die. It hurts.”

According to sources within their ranks, the panicky regime plans to stage-manage arrests of some 'operatives' putting on red berets in crime so they declare #PeoplePower a terrorist organisation and ban it! Explains such headlines. We are a non-violent movement! We are watching

They relied heavily on the same international journalists, organisations and countries which they now call neo-colonialists. Hypocrisy! How was it right for Museveni to rely on foreigners to come to power and not for Ugandans to seek assistance to rid ourselves of his rule?

"There is no longer anything I can fear. There is nothing the government has not done to me. There isn't any pain I haven't known." -Winnie Mandela Without such powerful and brave women, the quest for freedom would suffer big setbacks. #RIPWinnieMandela
