As Muslims draw close to the end of Ramadan, we were very humbled and delighted to host our Muslim brothers and sisters to an Iftar dinner at our home in Magere. Among our guests were families whose people are still missing or in detention.

When comrade MP Zaake was arrested on Sunday, he was energetic & healthy. He's now admitted in hospital, surrounded by police, after gruesome torture by security operatives! When I went to see him, they denied me access & instead deployed dozens more! We are fighting for freedom

In Uganda, no one is safe! Several pro-democracy NGOs have had their bank accounts frozen, and their leaders or associates harassed or deported! These two are now being accused of financing terrorism! Same script as all dictators before their fall!

Paid a visit to our brother Jakana Sulayiman Nadduli and his son in hospital. They were involved in a very bad accident recently. We thank God that he spared their lives. We shall be praying that they both get a very quick and full recovery. Each other is all we have!

Yesterday, we also paid a courtesy call on Retired Supreme Court Justice, Hon. George W. Kanyeihamba at his home in Buziga. Prof. Kanyeihamba remains an esteemed elder who we go to every once in a while for advice on different matters. We thank God for for sustaining him.
