Thank you @usmissionuganda for this important statement. As Martin Luther King said, "In the End, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends." I thank you for not keeping silent about the crude violations on our people by the Museveni regime! . twitter.com/usmissionugand…

Let's all stand in solidarity with these brothers and sisters. I call on the media to shine a light on what is happening in Karamoja. They need to feel that the rest of Uganda stands with them and that we all understand their pain and suffering. #EndKaramojaMassacres

2 Corinthians 4:8-10 "We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed."

I'm very bothered by the gruesome pictures & videos shared. Why would security agencies dehumanize Ugandans this much? I saw people, most of whom were going about their business along Entebbe road & Kasangati town, being beaten & manhandled by security. This impunity must stop!

Yesterday, I presided over a football match involving an Afro-German football club. I expressed gratitude to the club leadership for engaging and uplifting the talent of African youth who come here looking for opportunities.

Many have never been seen again while others are rotting in prisons and torture chambers. Their only crime was to express their constitutional right. We continue to demand for the unconditional release of all the political prisoners in Uganda. twitter.com/PatriqKanyomoz…

Earlier on, we had an event where we received many leaders joining @NUP_Ug from the sub-regions of Lango, Acholi, West-Nile, Karamoja, Rwenzori & Teso. We also received NUP leaders from those areas and 11 NUP Guild leaders. Ours is a mission to freedom! #WeAreRemovingADictator

I hope my own life will inspire others, especially the ghetto youth to never allow anyone decide for them what they can achieve or become and what they can not. My dream is to see a free Uganda in my life time, or at least to live every day trying to push towards that dream.

I join the people of Uganda in celebrating the INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY. We ought to celebrate women not just on this day, but on all other days knowing that without them we would all be doomed!

Joined other mourners at Saint Paul's Cathedral, Namirembe, for the funeral service of departed Buganda Kingdom's Namasole, Margaret Nagawa Siwoza Muyanja. She passed away last Wednesday. May her soul rest in peace. Twakuumye bubi ayi Ssabasajja Kabaka!

We arrived in Jinja in broad daylight to a massive and peaceful reception by our friends here. I wonder why police waited for darkness to fall before starting to carry out these evil plans! We shall overcome!

This all speaks to one thing: those we fear actually fear us the most. They are trying to intimidate us because they are intimidated. #WeAreRemovingADictator

On 8th Oct, 2022 we shall be live in concert at Abu Hail Club Stadium in Dubai, and on 9th Oct, 2022 in Abu Dhabi at Villagio Hotel & Resort. Proceeds will go to assist our sisters and brothers. Let's turn up in our usual large numbers and make the cause worthwhile.

SHAME!! Like father like son! Having lost all legitimacy, they use our taxes to ferry people whom they have made poor, with promises of little money and t-shirts (because most can't afford clothes). After every event, those stranded are abandoned and have to walk back on foot!

The people here spoke of massive land grabbing by the powerful and mighty. This lawlessness will only come to an end when the Museveni regime is out of the way. That's the most urgent task! I thank the people of Nakaseke for the warm reception. There will be justice!

We issued an international press statement about the heightened imprisonment, kidnap, torture and murder of #PeoplePower supporters in Uganda. We call upon all lovers of democracy and justice to join us in demanding accountability and justice! facebook.com/130737598011/p…

We all remember how they used COVID19 to carry out grand theft of public funds and money from donors. Of course they also used COVID19 to constrain civic liberties and control dissent. It is a shame that they have made a joke of everything, including public health!

In Kayunga, in a by-election to merely replace a Councillor, Kyobutungi Jennifer, the Returning Officer who last time declared NRM with all DR forms in favor of NUP's Hon. Nakwedde did the exact thing. Of 5 polling stations, NUP won 4 with a clear lead. She declared NRM winner!!

Despite court ordering police to release 46 (of the 67) detained Makerere students, they're still under illegal detention. Police waiting for orders from above on whether to comply with a court order! For most, it's been 4 days already in very dirty cells. We struggle to end this

As the world battles #COVID19, the nation of Italy (where I have many friends & family) continues to experience one of the darkest episodes with more people dying of the virus. Barbie & I send our deepest thoughts & condolences to the countless families affected. 🙏

Very humbled to be named amongst @Bloomberg's 15 figures to watch in 2020, as part of their Bloomberg 50 issue for 2019. Always reminded that although such a recognition bears my name, it is the sacrifice of millions of Ugandans that propels us forward. bloomberg.com/features/2019-…
