Also paid a courtesy call on His Grace Archbishop Odama of Gulu Archdiocese. Very grateful to Dr. @OlaraOlara for co-ordinating the visit, hosting us at his lovely home and for the wise guidance. With unifying and patriotic leaders, we can still dare to dream of a United Uganda.

Her courage is testament that fighting for freedom knows no gender or status. It simply takes conviction, determination and courage. I salute all the women and girls who are walking in her footsteps here in Uganda. Continue resting in peace. You stand tall as a giant of history.

Visited the people of Lusanja who were evicted from their homes, and shared with them foodstuffs and other items for Christmas. They do not have a roof on their heads yet, but at least they can have a decent meal with their children on Christmas day.

Police & paramilitary outfit LDU seem to have found opportunity in #COVID19 to satisfy their appetite for violence. These women, plucked out of houses in Elegu were brutalised in the night. Forced to roll in mud, beaten & ordered to smear mud in private parts as officers laughed

Sent messages of solidarity to their Excellencies the leaders of States within East Africa, Africa & the world. On behalf of the #PeoplePowerMovement, I sent assurances that we stand with the people of the world in these turbulent times. Together, we shall overcome #Covid19

CLARIFICATION Over the past days, I have received numerous complaints from friends here & abroad about persons who masquerade as @People_Power_Ug ambassadors to solicit funds in my name & in the name of our struggle. This money never reaches us to perform struggle activities.

In a functioning state, allegations of this nature would be investigated in a transparent manner, instead of intimidating the nation into silence. Every attempt to silence citizens on possible murders only leaves them asking what you're trying to cover up!

I've seen gross pictures of a young man who was allegedly attacked by unknown people, hit on the head & had his hands nailed! According to a statement released by police, the 21 year old victim is called Kasumba Baker, resident of Kawempe.

The Constitutional Court's ruling on "Offensive Communication" comes as a timely respite for the several youth presently in detention or on trial for their anti-regime views.

Most importantly, we know that the regime isn't really interested in enforcing the law, but is just smartly creating an opportunity for its officers to pay themselves thru soliciting bribes in exchange for the motorcycles. Such schemes are not strange in rogue regimes like ours.

Regime operatives have attempted to hack into my social media accounts countless times. Today they finally hacked into the #GhettoTV page which relays our live broadcasts. This was their first post! The same regime speaks of digital campaigns! #RegimeInPanic #CriminalRegime

That's when they claimed it was undervalued and demanded I return it. Today they wrote asking me to pay this incredibly high sum of money. Like I've said before, when you fight against Museveni, all state institutions gang up against you, because they've been personalised.

You can hear the man crying and wailing, and imagine what they did to him. This is Uganda. The world must not look on while the rogue regime continues to torture and murder. Totally unacceptable!

We shall be having a brief conversation with Ugandans and well wishers in a town hall meeting in Washington DC this Saturday 15th September 12:30pm to 2:30pm at the Greenbelt Library 11 Crescent Road, Greenbelt MD 20770.

@BarbieItungoK and I paid a call on our comrade and friend, Kasirye Ashraf, the journalist who was shot on the head during campaigns. Very glad to see that his health has greatly improved in a short time. Thank you to the doctors and all who have supported efforts to treat him.

Police and the military blocked us from reaching Busabala for our press conference about police brutality, injustice and abuse of authority. A citizen cannot be allowed to access his private property.People teargassed, beaten, Many arrested. We shall overcome. #EnoughIsEnough
