1/ The book “Freedom” warns the world how fragile and precious freedom is — thus part of the revenue is donated to the fight for freedom in Ukraine 🇺🇦. We need more doers not talkers. From Russia to China, from right to vote to right from fear, we are all in this together.

Energy dependency on Russia made the EU very reluctant to act in the first place. We are too dependent on Russia and China — start to decrease reliance and divest from them NOW. Banning all slave-labored product, limiting investment both from and to China is the first step.

“Anyone who rejects military action as a last resort weakens the pressure that needs to be maintained on dictators and consequently makes a war not less but more likely.” This is actually from 🇩🇪 former chancellor Merkel in 2003, before she came into power. Deterrence needed.

The courage of Ukraine🇺🇦 changed the world’s attitude towards Putin. The protest in Hong Kong changed the world’s attitude towards Xi. Yet, we need change in action, in building a world that protects people from dictatorship. It’s been failing, and it’s time to stop the failure.

Misinformation campaign is a weapon and war strategy from Russia. The state media RT does the same thing as China’s CCTV, to spread lies for the brutal regime and destabilize targets. Countries supporting freedom should consider banning state propaganda organs from operating.

I want to pay my tribute to the protestors in Mosco and other cities in Russia — they have shown that not all nationals support dictators like Putin, Xi, and many others. We all share the pain of living under a brutal regime. The fight is also ours, to end the dictatorship.

3. Our Ukrainian friends have been supporting our struggles against dictatorship. It’s time that we support their fight. Talk to your Ukrainian friends, shop Ukrainian products, follow the news, and most importantly, urge the international community to act. #StandWithUkraine

2. We clearly understand one point — if the international community cannot deter dictators from advancing their interests by war, democracy and peace will never prevail. It’s time to act and put the harshest sanctions over those culpable for the invasion.

🇺🇦🏴 1. The documentary “Winter on Fire” has been a documentary Hong Kong protestors are watching. We understand how it feels to have a threatening neighbour and people’s will being suppressed by authoritarian power.

Not sure why we continue to allow Chinese officials to use the platform they banned in the PRC to spread lies and stigmatization (with an Iphone). Anyone overlooking the ongoing Crimes Against Humanities in Xinjiang, Tibet and suppression in Hong Kong is the colluder of dictators

Cannot describe how excited I am to this important initiative. It means a lot to the diasporic Hongkongers community. Stay tuned. Movies are coming to town. #HKFFUK twitter.com/HKFF_UK/status…

As a free and independent country, #Ukraine has the autonomy to decide its future and allies. The right to self-determination is also what we #Hongkongers are fighting for. If dictators like Putin advanced and launched a war to get what they want, Xi will be the next to move.

In just a few years, I've been unseated from the parliament, being imprisoned and forced to exile. What keeps me going? Freedom (bit.ly/Freedom-Book) tells. The exiled Hong Kong activist makes a case for fighting global authoritarianism in a new book foreignpolicy.com/2022/01/15/nat…

In my testimony to the European Parliament, I suggest that the EU🇪🇺 should: 🆘Open more “safe boat” routes for HKers at risk ❌End Extradition treaties with PRC and HK 📝Sanction HK officials 👊Treat PRC as a systemic rival, not a partner when they violate international treaties

The only reason why I am a criminal in YOUR (Hong Kong) justice system is that the system is compromised to persecute democratic activists and suppress basic rights. Obviously, Regina Ip, and many other CCP mouthpieces are propaganda tools. I am a Hongkonger, and will forever be.
