On #WorldMalariaDay we pledge to continue working alongside our global partners to support vulnerable communities at risk of the disease. It is our collective responsibility to help those in need and we must pursue all possible means to accelerate malaria eradication efforts.

Today at the Major Economies Forum on Energy and Climate we agreed on a joint commitment to accelerate action aimed at combatting climate change. As the host of COP28, the UAE will focus efforts on moving beyond setting goals to achieving them.

I was pleased to meet with my brother King Abdullah II in Abu Dhabi today. Our talks reaffirmed the close bonds between the UAE and Jordan, and our shared interest in further strengthening these ties to support the ongoing progress of our countries and our people.
