Check this out! A grocery store sign at @HarmonsGrocery in Utah by @RubenRhod referencing Marsha from ‘Spaced’. Can’t believe the great Julia Deakin is out there in a Utah grocery store. I love it! (Credit to Jessica Hynes and Simon Pegg for the one liner) x

Go see @Lin_Manuel's Tick Tick... Boom!; a remarkably confident debut from that far too talented EG-T adjacent bastard. Especially loved the All That Jazz style editing, combining separate timelines into an dizzying whole. A perfect part for Andrew Garfield too. You will enjoy!

Of my many great memories from last nights premiere, a heart bursting fav was seeing Anya Taylor-Joy break off from her red carpet duties to tell @sparksofficial how much she loved them. My worlds collide x twitter.com/sparksofficial…

Indiewire asked me to write about the 60's films that inspired me while making #LastNightInSoho and I obliged. So if you enjoyed the movie, here's some further reading: 25 Films from the 1960s That Inspired ‘Last Night in Soho': Exclusive indiewire.com/gallery/last-n… via @IndieWire

I finally watched ‘Small Axe: Lover’s Rock’ and while I’m terribly late to the sweaty wallpapered house party, I would like add to the chorus decreeing that the sequence set to Janet Kay’s ‘Silly Games’ is one of the finest uses of pop music in film.

#HotFuzz came out in the US and Canada 15 years ago today. The press tour and the great audiences were especially memorable for us all. Did anyone here attend the rambunctious Q&A at the Arclight Hollywood (I miss it) on opening night? And if so, which three people introduced us?

Related: I was lucky enough to see ‘Dune’ at TIFF at the IMAX premiere and it is 100 percent an epic to disappear into on the biggest screen. Hats off to Denis Villeneuve. I urge you to go see it opening weekend (but not the weekend after as that is when my film comes out xxx) twitter.com/edgarwright/st…

DON'T LOOK NOW if you haven't seen #LastNightInSoho yet, but as an end of 2021 treat & taster of making of content to come, let me highlight the amazing VFX work by Tom Proctor & the wizards at @dneg. As you can see, it's a devious mix of in-camera magic & digital sorcery. Enjoy.

Had a blast watching @Carlota_Pereda’s PIGGY (CERDITA) with a packed home crowd house in @sitgesfestival. Beautifully made and powerfully performed (especially by lead actress Laura Galán), but with shocking knock out twists throughout. See it soon!

Very much enjoyed @billyeichner's 'BROS'; a frank, funny, emotional film which walks a high wire act from gleefully subverting the rom-com genre to making a beautifully sincere entry. Big big guffaws throughout. Billy & Luke Macfarlane are beyond charming in the leads. Go see x
