In 2018, Uganda's security presented these guns and claimed they found them in my hotel room, to justify my arrest and torture to near death. Tonight, 49 friends are spending the eighth night in detention over similar charges! We are not giving up! We have more reason to struggle

Wishing all friends in Uganda and abroad a Merry Christmas!

Here is the kind of evidence the Supreme Court refused to take in and we decided to bring the matter to the PEOPLE. Here, in trying to dispel accusations of rigging, they released this DR form whose results don't add up to the total indicated. A total fraud. #ReclaimingOurVictory twitter.com/UgandaEC/statu…

The whole vibe is fresh tonight with #Freshboy @FFameica.

On our way to Kyankwanzi via Hoima, all roads were blocked by police saying they had orders not to allow us through. We decided to spend the night in Migera but DPC Patience Namara and OC Byarugaba ordered all hotels not to host us. We're now stuck and sleeping by the roadside.

This video shows how the military descended on artiste & comrade Sweet Pepsi (Ssewankambo Hannington) and brutalised him last year. A peaceful, harmless citizen battered for gathering to express solidarity with me and our cause! Yesterday, he passed on. Deeply saddened. Rest well

This morning, I beat so many road blocks which had been mounted to block me from getting to Jinja to speak on radio. On hearing my voice , they surrounded the station and fired teargas & bullets to disperse the multitude of residents who came to show solidarity. We shall overcome

As gov't demands 10k from struggling Ugandans ostensibly to fight #COVID, they're dishing out 40m to MPs who voted to amend age limit! As they blocked Ugandans from returning home, those close to power continued to come in. It becomes clearer why our struggle is MORAL & URGENT

They practice TRIBALISM publicly and institutionally, but they're not ashamed to blame those who expose and speak about it. #Hypocrites

Thank you Iganga for braving the intimidation, the beatings, the harassment, the teargas, the bullets & coming in large numbers to show the whole world that you're ready to remove the dictator with us. Please do the same come voting day. Next stop; Bugiri #WeAreRemovingADictator

I express my deepest sympathies to the people of Malawi and the rest of Southern Africa upon the devastation caused by Cyclone Freddy. My heart goes out to you our brothers and sisters who have lost loved ones, homes, and livelihoods as a result of this natural disaster; ... 1/2

When I sang, "Afande (Officer), I am not fighting you, I am fighting for you," such are the conditions I had in mind. These brothers and sisters live in pathetic conditions. Majority of them detest the corrupt regime. One day, they'll have the courage to stand with the people!

Yesterday, the 'BOBI WINE: the People's President' documentary film was screened in Copenhagen-Denmark. Another opportunity to expose the Museveni regime of terror in Uganda. We'll spare no effort to show the international community what criminals they are sponsoring in Uganda.

All this pain and suffering Gen. Museveni and his family have caused to Ugandans will never go unpunished. We should just pray for life.

Very delighted to appear on @ZainAsher's program on CNN where I continued to make an appeal to the US & other gov'ts of the world to stop sponsoring a regime that has distinguished itself in crude violation of rights. #StopSponsoringOurOppression #FreeAllPoliticalPrisonersUganda twitter.com/ZainAsher/stat…

Since 11:00pm, police & military surrounded my home & my private property, One Love Beach Busabala, in yet another move to place me under house arrest & block our Independence Day music concert. 156th concert so far! For singing truth to power, I can't perform in my own country.

I used the past two days under house arrest to compose a song which I now dedicate to our men and women in uniform.we are grateful for the sacrifices they make to keep our country safe and we implore them to stop violating the rights of the citizens. youtu.be/QlHluQFjCaM

Next time you find no drugs at Mulago National Referral Hospital, please know that someone profits from that scarcity. This private pharmacy - owners 'unknown' - is located at Mulago's entrance. The land it occupies was previously the hospital's. #UgandaHealthExhibition #Labisa

Frank, a safe journey to you brother. You have fought a good fight. You were brutally murdered on duty. At 25 years of age, you could have chosen another path, but you chose the struggle for freedom. You were a real revolutionary. Now you tower above as a true Ugandan hero.

Today, Hon. Ssegirinya Muhammad visited me at home in Magere. I welcomed him from the long period of illegal detention. I also got a call from Hon. Allan Sewanyana. Both comrades assured me that their commitment to our struggle for freedom and democracy still stands firm.

Our comrades appeared at the General Court Martial today for a bail hearing. They have yet again been sent back to Kitalya Prison. The quest for justice and freedom might be long and sometimes frustrating, but in the end, every pain and effort will be worth it. #Akatengo

Today, over 20 NUP supporters and comrades were abducted from Mbale town by heavily armed security operatives and taken to unknown places. Despite the outcry from Ugandans and the international community, the abductions, torture and murder of our people have only escalated!

After 6 months of illegal detention, 18 comrades including Nubian Li, Eddie Mutwe & Dan Magic are out on bail! The military court imposed prohibitive conditions but we're glad to have them back. We shan't relent until all the hundreds others are free, and until Uganda is free!
