We sent to Dubai a delegation led by @NUP_Ug Secretary General to coordinate the repatriation of detained Ugandans back home. Today alone, 60 of them have returned home. 18 more will arrive soon, putting the total number we have so far repatriated at 153.

We visited Hajj Abdul Nadduli in Wobulenzi, Luwero. We delivered condolences over the loss of comrade Jakaana Nadduli. Exceedingly sad to see the pain in his household, knowing that his son's untimely death falls squarely on the hands of a regime he helped bring to power.

Between Nov 18th and 19th 2020, regime operatives on the orders of Gen. Museveni shot and killed over 150 Ugandans in Kampala and other places. There has been no accountability for the heinous crimes! As we draw close to the 2nd anniversary, we are renewing our demand for justice

@PoliceUg always has enough fuel to pursue & teargas opposition members, but it had none to respond to an attack on its own officers. At their greatest hour of need, the officers had to turn to the same opposition [they've been terrorising] for help. Think about that 4 a minute!

Regime operatives have been on rampage these past days abducting our people in hundreds! The new excuse is that they beat up an NRM thug called Majambere at late Jakana Nadduli's burial, after he threatened to shoot them, and later promised to kill them.

So many are being picked up by uninformed, heavily armed operatives and taken to unknown places. This very evening, we have been informed of the violent abduction of Aheebwa Rodgers a journalist who runs an online platform called FlashLightUg.

He called to say they were beating him up and asking him about the whereabouts of other comrades. There has also been an attempt to abduct other comrades in Lugala and we are still following up the situation. For now, let me encourage all comrades to be vigilant.

Following my earlier post on the abduction of journalist Aheebwa Rodgers, he was dumped on the northern bypass after beating him badly. They wanted him to lead them to some of the activists he regularly hosts on his platform. What a terrible bunch of people!
