At the end of the Museveni dictatorship (which will be soon), every Ugandan will have a horrifying story to tell. twitter.com/HajjatiSmart/s…

As part of our effort to repatriate Ugandans stuck in detention abroad, 15 Ugandans landed at Entebbe today 10:30am. They were singled out by operatives who are still holding them 7 hours later! Before their phones were taken, they said they were being interrogated about NUP!
1978
The whole intention is of course to frustrate this effort! Can the shameless, timid regime release these helpless people, who include a baby? They have already gone through so much suffering without your help. NOW LET THEM GO TO THEIR FAMILIES!

UPDATE: An hour after my last tweet, armed operatives placed the 15 repatriated Ugandans into a "drone" and drove them to taxi-parks, with instructions to go to their villages and not be seen anywhere near Kamwokya (NUP office) or Magere (My home), or they'll face consequences!

That was after spending about 8 hours under interrogation. Their phones were checked and details of their communication taken. They were asked where they come from, what relationship they have with Bobi Wine, what plans they have going forward, why NUP is leading this effort, etc

Boston, we're here.

Today, the @NUP_Ug leadership received 12 more Ugandans who have been in detention in Dubai for several months. As of today, we have repatriated 41 Ugandans and we are doing everything to process others. Grateful to everyone who is joining us in this cause despite the challenges

Such a heavy price that youth in #Uganda are paying for criticising @GovUganda officials!

This morning, my beatitul sister @SpiceDianaUg paid for the repatriation of four Ugandan girls from the Middle East. When I called to thank her, she was like "come on brother, I did that for myself and fellow women. I gave myself an early birthday gift". I was speechless.

To all fellow Ugandans, this is not political like some people want to paint it. You too can help our people either through us or through any body else. The objective is to ensure that we put an end to the suffering of so many Ugandans out there.

Such heartwarming news! Delighted to learn that after 8 years under military detention in the DRC, our brother and comrade Sam Mugumya is free. Testament to the enormous sacrifices many people have had to make in pursuit of freedom and democracy for Uganda! We shall overcome!

Following the efforts to repatriate Ugandans stuck in the Middle East, over 100 have been repatriated today courtesy of the authorities in UAE. The effort is paying off. Unfortunately, most were hijacked from the airport but some managed to find their way to the @NUP_Ug office.

There are still hundreds of Ugandans stuck in detention, while others are on the streets. Let's continue doing whatever we can to speak about their plight but also assist them in every way possible to return home. Grateful to every single person who has supported the cause.

You can't make this one up 🤔

Thank you Boston. It was massive! See you all tomorrow at Church. Later, we shall have a community town hall meeting at 3:00pm with the local leaders.

Just learnt of the sudden death of our brother Jakana Sulayiman Nadduli, the son of Al Hajj Nadduli. He was abducted a few days back, tortured and spent days under incommunicado detention. In March, he was involved in an accident, which he thinks was staged. Most unfortunate!

Continue resting in peace, Sheikh Nuhu Muzaata Batte.

Dear Boston, thank you. See you soon.

Uganda under Museveni! A renowned criminal who's been threatening to kill us and our supporters, and has attacked our supporters many times, yet again promises to kill 4 Ugandans right infront of @PoliceUg officers. Luckily, all these things are being recorded live!

Yesterday in New York, we checked on Hon. Betty Nambooze who's been battling illness. Her health challenges started in 2017 when she was assaulted by operatives who attacked us in Parliament during the Age Limit debate. She's made significant improvement. A quick & full recovery!

When we were gruesomely tortured in 2018, @UHRC_UGANDA received & sat on our complaints about the same. To date, you're still 'processing' them. When regime thugs abducted Jakana, you coiled your tail and feigned ignorance of his plight. Now you're here mouthing 'human rights'. twitter.com/UHRC_UGANDA/st…

Very grateful to our Members of Parliament for their contribution of 34 million shillings towards our ongoing effort to repatriate Ugandans stuck in the Middle East. As of today, we have assisted 72 Ugandans to return home. This contribution is indeed a great boost to the cause.

We're all disappointed at the turn of events, but I never stop thinking about those who fought in Luwero for what they genuinely thought was a fundamental change. How Museveni shortchanged them to a point that he's now plotting to turn Uganda into a monarchy is a sad, sad tale!
