Yusuf Kiggundu is our latest supporter to be abducted. He was violently picked up yesterday 9:00am from Luwero by four armed men moving in a drone. He was badly beaten up and bundled into a vehicle before being driven off. His whereabouts remain unknown.

Landed in Dubai at 8:30pm. It’s now 5am. I’ve been held & interrogated for 8hrs. They asked me about NUP, it's leaders, their phone numbers, my family members & their contacts! I have all necessary travel docs. They’ve confiscated my passport & my phone. Am literary under arrest.

In Dubai to perform at a charity concert to assist some of the Ugandan immigrant workers. Been held at the airport for almost 10 hours, being interrogated mostly about NUP! My phone and passport have now been returned. Hopefully things go as planned. Will give an update. Thanks

9 days following her abduction, @AidenKaliisa's wife Fiona was released without charge. She was beaten up and warned not to speak about her ordeal or they'd come for her! Like many victims, they refused to give her a bond form, which you'd use in a court case! #BringBackOurPeople

After our cancelled charity concert, we visited sisters being held at Al Awir Deportation Jail, Dubai. All they need is a flight home for Approx 200USD(800K UGX). Here alone are 600 African girls (200 Ugandans and 400 other nationalities- away from the other 20 detention centers.

Our brother Yusuf Kiggundu was dropped in a trench after several hours of illegal detention and torture. He shows some of what they did to him. This is Uganda at 60! There must be accountability!

The military court today refused to grant bail to a group of 32 @NUP_Ug supporters who were picked up in 2020 and early 2021. In detention close to 2 years for supporting me and NUP! The trial has not even started! Overcome by anger, the relatives gathered outside court and wept!
