Time has come for all democratic nations to stop supporting a confessed military dictator who delights in murder, torture, abduction and imprisonment. Nations must make a conscious choice to listen to Museveni or listen to the cry of the people of Uganda.

Today marks one year since comrade Francis "Frank" Ssenteza Kalibbala was murdered at Busega round about by the military. The unprecedented violence we were subjected to by security forces saw hundreds of citizens and comrades including the late Frank paying the ultimate price.

Yesterday, author and political activist Kakwenza Rukirabashaija was yet again violently arrested by plain clothed operatives who broke into his house. His crime apparently is making critical comments about Museven's son. We are told he is being held in a safe house in Mbuya.

He's been previously arrested and tortured. They continue to do such actions in order to silence opponents yet they're emboldening more people to stand against the repressive regime.

The regime has completely ignored a court order issued yesterday for the immediate release of author and political activist Kakwenza Rukirabashaija. He's still being held incommunicado, having been subjected to grave torture. There must be accountability for this abuse!
