This week marked 5 years since #DictatorMuseveni ordered the murder of over 150 Ugandans in Kasese- one of the many atrocities committed by the regime. As we remember the victims, may we all make a commitment to fight on until there is justice and accountability for these crimes.

We beat several roadblocks yesterday to make it to Rukiga district in Kigezi Sub-region in order to attend mass at St. Luke Muhanga Catholic Church. The mass attracted pilgrims from many districts in Western Uganda. Eternally grateful to the clergy for refusing to be intimidated.

I thanked the pilgrims for such a warm reception and explained to them that our message is not divisive but unifying. I explained that our struggle is about human rights, better education, better health care, good roads, markets for our produce, etc.

On the eve of elections, Facebook detected and removed several such accounts, prompting Museveni to ban Facebook in Uganda to date. Very glad to see that Twitter has taken a similar step and we hope the dictator will now not ban twitter as well.

This morning, ahead of my planned visit to Kayunga District to campaign for our flag bearer, the police and military deployed overnight around my home in an apparent attempt to block me from leaving. The cowardly regime is on its way out. A matter of time.

The military has increased deployment around my home. No one is allowed to leave or enter. Our security guard and gardener have been violently arrested, beaten and bundled into 'drones' outside our gate. Their phones confiscated.
