Spent the day in Serere District, where we laid to rest His Highness Emorimor Augustine Osuban Lemukol. Deepest condolences, once again to the people of Teso. May his soul rest in peace. Been overwhelmed by the love from the people of Teso, wherever we passed. Eyalama Noi Noi

STATEMENT ON STATE SPONSORED PROPAGANDA ABOUT "IPOD FUNDING"

To 20 years of our love story. Katonda y'abade mweno ensonga!

Today we celebrate Archbishop Janan Luwum. A great contradiction that Museveni has the courage to join the celebration. For perspective, many more critical religious leaders have died mysteriously while others (Muslim Sheikhs) have been shot in broad daylight, under his regime.

As Elie Wiesel famously said, "There may be times when we are powerless to prevent injustice, but there must never be a time when we fail to protest." Today comrade Sanya Muhydin Kakooza, one of our political prisoners, courageously protested before Gen. Gutti's military court!

My father was 40 years old when he had me and 40 years later, here I am at 40 with 4 lovely children. I was 4 when our country was taken over and now am 40. What's with the number '4' and me?? They say life begins at 40, so let's toast to life. #BobiWineAt40

It has been the honour of my life to work with you and to continue drinking from your cup of wisdom. May God grant that you see a free and truly independent Uganda in your life time. Wishing you good health and many happy returns.

A very happy 90th birthday to you Dr. Paul Kawanga Semwogerere, the most eminent statesman in Uganda. My father used to tell me how you and his father were great friends and comrades in the struggles against colonialism and against the dictatorships that came after colonialism.

The good news in this is to clearly show how desperate his regime is! By the time a supposed head of state engages in such stunts, it's clear that he feels the heat. We shall never slow down or give up. Our pursuit for freedom shall end in victory. #WeAreRemovingADictator

One of our first assignments as a nation when the dictatorship is gone, will be to professionalise the national army and get it out of partisan politics! Museveni continues to abuse the army because he views it as his personal property, the same way he views all institutions.

Alternatively, a group of schemers took random people to him, in order to con him of billions of tax payers' money! Besides, if these were NUP supporters and therefore civilians, why dress them in 'military uniforms' - the very bogus charge put on hundreds of our supporters?
889
Who knows these people who Museveni paraded yesterday as NUP supporters? Who knows about a group called "Kikankane" allegedly affiliated with NUP? The desperate dictator must have picked some LDUs and claimed they were our supporters. None of our leaders knows any of them!

Yesterday, the International Court of Justice ordered Uganda to pay USD 325,000,000 to the DRC over the next five years. This follows Uganda's invasion of the Congo in 1998/99 where Gen. Museveni's regime committed grave atrocities there. Here is my statement:

Torture in Uganda is systemic. It is the official policy of Museveni's regime. He uses it to control and intimidate. This is Ronald Segawa, another young man who was tortured to near death. His crime? Making a video in which he encouraged people to vote me! #EndTortureInUganda

Very delighted that our brother @KakwenzaRukira is safely out of Uganda- and hopefully now safe from Museveni and his murderous son. Kakwenza joins thousands of Ugandans in exile in different countries. My conviction is that they will soon return home, because FREEDOM IS IN SIGHT

@UdoBullmann @TheProgressives It was an absolute pleasure meeting and having important discussions! Together, let's make the world a better place. Looking forward to further engagements.

Luzige Masuudi's story in luganda. We must put an end to these heinous crimes against humanity. #EndTortureInUganda #StopFundingOurOppression #WeAreRemovingADictator

On 18th November, 2020, Luzige Masuudi was shot through the mouth and back. His crime? Putting on a People Power T-shirt and having dreadlocks. He was taken to the mortuary because they thought he was dead. It's a miracle he's alive. A brief of his story.

Yesterday evening, it was a great honor addressing the group of the Socialists and Democrats of the @Europarl_EN. We're very grateful for this important platform to raise the plight of our people. We discussed human rights, development, healthcare and other important subjects.

Had the honor of addressing Members of the European Parliament belonging to the #RenewEurope group. I spoke about the human rights situation in our country and yet again made the case for the world to take firm action against those who undermine democracy. fb.watch/b2nnjAihAS/

It defeats logic that you have schools at all levels open, and the largest University in the country is still closed to very many students. Many have been arrested & others suspended! Power to you comrades. Thank you for standing up for your rights. #WeAreRemovingADictator

The right to protest is internationally acknowledged. Unfortunately in Uganda, Museveni made it illegal. Many students at Makerere University have been violently arrested for protesting against the continued closure of the University to many students, when other sectors are open!
