Journalists have been beaten up, arrested and forced to delete implicating footage. I wanted to speak to her on phone, but was told she's still in a very critical condition; praying she recovers. We're working with her family and medical team. THERE WILL BE ACCOUNTABILITY!

Just learnt of the violent assault on Hon. Susan Mugabi, the Woman MP for Buvuma District under the National Unity Platform . In trying to block her Women's Day celebrations, the shameless thugs in our national uniform pounced on her and other leaders and assaulted them.

Indeed, we don't keep left. We keep on what's left. #KampalaPotholeExhibition

Africa needs healing from neo-colonialists, bloodshed, and tyrants who love to disguise as 'Pan-Africanists'!

Delivered this speech (fb.watch/k2e84RZzK2/?mi…) today at 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐕 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 in Baltimore, USA. Grateful to @IBW21st - the organisers - for the opportunity to share my thoughts & interact with eminent pan-Africanists.

As we celebrate the end of the holy month of Ramadan, let us remember the values of compassion, unity, and generosity that Islam teaches us. Let us pray for peace, justice, and equality in our country. Once again, Eid Mubarak. As-salamu alaikum.

As-salamu alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh. Eid Mubarak to all our Muslim sisters and brothers! Please, accept my warmest greetings and best wishes for a blessed and happy Eid. May Allah (SWT) accept your fasting, prayers, and good deeds.

Had Omar al-Bashir read the warnings and prepared a peaceful transition, the story would be different. But he didn't care if the country burnt — and here they are now. My prayers are with you brothers and sisters in Sudan. May Allah (SWT) see you through these tough times.

Images coming out of Sudan are such a shame to Africa and humanity. The killings must be condemned by all people with a conscience. What a reminder of the danger dictators tend to leave their countries in! I get shocked when people praise tyrants and their naked abuse of power.

The kangaroo court introduced fresh charges of Treachery, after more than two full years without trial!!! Our job is clearly cut out- when injustice becomes law, resistance becomes duty! #FreeAllPoliticalPrisonersInUganda

"There may be times when we are powerless to prevent injustice, but there must never be a time when we fail to protest." ~ Elie Wiesel. Today, these 28 comrades who have been imprisoned for 2+ years, yet again protested against their continued detention without trial!

How can they abuse and misuse our national army to this extent? We've been told repeatedly that this is what takes place in their training schools and now the evidence is out. The CORRUPTION! The NEPOTISM! The TRIBALISM! Fellow Ugandans, let's not dispair. Freedom is in sight!

Watch this video and you'll worry about the future of our nation. Gen. Museveni and his criminal regime continue to set the stage for greater instability than we have ever witnessed. They feel safe now but it's only a matter of time, the monster they've groomed will eat them up.

This would be funny if it were not an ugly representation of the dire state of our roads — especially in what is supposed to be our capital city. One wonders what those who have spent 37 years ruling over our country feel about their record.
41
God willing, we shall one day see them accounting for each of these crimes against humanity! #BringBackOurPeople

They told us how they were severely tortured, while being asked about the usual questions of what NUP is plotting. I'm glad to see that despite the brutal treatment received in those torture chambers, these comrades are still firm regarding the cause.

After 1 month and 17 days under incommunicado detention, comrades Mugumya Gaddafi and Semanda John Paul were driven out of CMI torture facilities and taken to Jinja Road Police where they were charged with "Interference with Electricity Installation" and released on Police Bond.

Ugandans, WE ARE ON OUR OWN. #WeAreRemovingaDictator

When we delivered relief items to Karamoja, the Minister for Karamoja claimed they didn't need any help because they already had plenty to live by. Less than a year later, it is evident she & her fellow thieves in Gov't were in fact stealing even the little Karamoja had to get.

Thank you comrades, please don't let up on the pressure as it is through such actions that we get closer to freedom! #FreeAllPoliticalPrisoners #BringBackOurPeople #WeAreRemovingaDictator

Appreciating our leadership team in the diaspora headed by Dr. Daniel Kawuma for the strong message sent out against the World Bank, IMF, and other international bodies that knowingly or recklessly fund the continued violation of our rights in Uganda.

It's been great this evening checking on our senior comrade Dr Kizza Besigye at his home. I'm very delighted to find him in much better health. As always, our discussion was about the crisis in our country and what we must URGENTLY and COLLECTIVELY do to rescue ourselves from it.

Adam Mulwana, the artiste famously known for his 'Toka kwa balabala' song has not been feeling well for some time. We passed by him last evening. Happy to see he's making good progress.

The Ghetto Kids make the word GHETTO sound like the best word in the dictionary. The ghetto is proud of you. Uganda, Africa, and the rest of the world are so proud of you. My greatest congratulations to you our dear GHETTO KIDS.
